Founder

This is David Seay.
David was 6 years old when he and his fellow cub scouts decided to give donated groceries from gracious givers in Middlesex County, Virginia, to people in their own rural community located on the middle penninsula of Virginia, instead of sending it all over the state for distribution. This was something that had not been done by his pack before.
David had grown up In his family who served the homeless his entire life, going into ravished communities where hurricanes had destroyed lives, leaving people hungry,  homeless and broken.  David, adopted as an infant by his parents, had grown up knowing that all people are loved by God and that God has nothing but good plans for each and every person.  When most kids are home on weekends playing and hanging out with their friends, David was toted up and serving alongside his family on the streets feeding and clothing the homeless in the inner city of Richmond,  Virginia.  At 5  months old he was taken, for his first time, upon his Dad's back and in his mama's arms, as they served day and night In Mississippi, feeding,  clothing,  repairing homes and providing hope and love to those left from the storm.  He brought sunshine to the storm for those who met him.  Even a baby is used by God.
In 2011, After discovering, what appeared to be an abandoned home, and obeying the Holy Spirit's prompt to go knock on the door and offer food, with his fellow cub scouts,  he began Christ's Basket Ministries.  Now 13 years later, he actively continues to work,  serve, plan  and advise.
